M.A.A.G (Medway Autism Action Group)
Contact Bob Baker at M.A.A.G. if you feel you need a chance to express your views at a public meeting.
Bob works hard to keep the local authority's talking to parents and giving parents a chance to be part of changes in Medway to do with Autism.
We will be posting info on any upcoming public meetings as and when they are arranged.

Stepping Stones Nursery
Founded by parents Stepping Stones has been working to support families since 1990 and was established as a registered charity in 1994.
All stepping-stones staff and volunteers are carers of children with disabilities/special needs. They have nursery places for children with disabilities, 0-8 years of age, 3 days a week.

Home Start
Home start exists to offer support friendship and offers practical help to families with a child under 5yrs.
Contact is made either directly, through health visitor’s social workers or other professionals.

Parent Direct Medway.
Parent direct is a national programme, delivered as part as Medway Council’s Children’s Information Service.
Parent Direct can help you with your rights as a working parent. One call can offer advice in the following areas:

Time off for family including
Maternity, paternity and adoption rights such as leave entitlements.
Flexible working options.
Related family care info like childcare; help with costs in the form of Tax Credits and an estimate of what you could be entitled to claim.

They can also offer personal appointments through their outreach service.
