You may be aware MAGIC has become one of the ten parent groups to receive support from the Treehouse Charity in order to campaign for better
services for those with Autism and their families.
The group also hopes to network with other groups across the UK. One of our aims is to lessen the Postcode Lottery for services in Education,
Leisure and Social Care that is currently in existence.
During 2009, Jonathan Shaw, MP, visited Treehouse.
As a result of that visit, this letter, from the Minister addresses some of the issues raised
at this discussion.

Sarah McCarthy-Fry visits TreeHouse to launch new national project
TreeHouse welcomed Sarah McCarthy-Fry when she visited on Monday 9 February 2009 to launch the DCSF funded Parent Participation Project (PPP).
Sarah McCarthy-Fry is the Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Schools and Learners for the Department for Children, Schools and Families, as well as
MP for Portsmouth.
Her principal policy areas include school admissions, the National Curriculum and Special Educational Needs. She has campaigned extensively to improve the lives
